Our interview-invite process is not so much about excluding individuals as it is about ensuring that only the right people are in the room.
This is an intimate setting and we want every individual to have the right mindsets & perspectives to create a true mastermind. Even better, the networking offers access to connect personally with our speakers & develop new relationships with other small business owners.

While putting on the first Grow Retreat, one speaker advised Stephanie that he would only bring enough content to the table to sell his services at a “discounted rate for the attendees!”
The more speakers Stephanie interviewed, the more prevalent she realized that mindset is. She started to realize why so many other events leave their attendees only feeling overwhelmed and incapable of truly taking action to improve their business! Speakers often cherry-pick their content to ensure that their audience feels like they have to hire the speaker to achieve results.
To combat this, Stephanie carefully curates content with all our speakers every year to ensure that they bring real content, and discuss application as well to solve your problems - not sell their products. We also vigorously uphold a “No Pitching” policy every year!

Susannah Scheller has been part of the workforce since childhood filling a verity of part-time jobs until she found the world of Social Media, content creation and marketing strategy execution in 2015 and fell in love. Susannah grew up surrounded by successful entrepreneurs and dedicated herself to learning from Stephanie by watching and listening and was rewarded by becoming one of the first permanent hires for Grow Disrupt in 2016 to work directly under Stephanie's coaching & training. Susannah is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Fort Worth, Texas while managing the Social Media & content creation and distribution for Grow Disrupt. Beyond her degree and tutelage under Stephanie, Susannah regularly educates herself with business blogs, books, and by using her sparse moments of free time while running the AV for Grow Disrupt events to learn from the speakers!
