Why Business Owners are Communications Officers

· Business Owner,John Bates,Grow Retreat,Communication,Entrepreneur

John Bates was one of our most dynamic speakers at this year's Grow Retreat, but something that not everyone understood was why Stephanie brought him on.

John is a master communicator. But the thing that a lot of people don't quite realize is how communication connects to running a business. After all, most people think numbers, client calls, and taxes, when they hear "small business."

But John pointed out during his Keynote Speech that communication is vital to getting your message out there.

In other words, you can have the absolute best idea in the whole world and it won't make a smidgen of difference if you can't communicate the idea: to anyone around you or the world at large.

Think about it this way. If a child is hungry, but all they do is follow their mother around all day expecting her to feed them, she's just going to get frustrated at being followed around and have no idea that the child wants food. But if the child takes the time to actually ask for something to eat, that's when the change in their world takes place.

If you're struggling with getting people to understand your vision or dream, take some time and see what sort of training you can invest in so that you can communicate your ideas!

We guarantee it will be worth the investment!
